Design as Homage.

In a sea of SaaS tools defined by "Linear gradients" and "Notion clones," Mikage looks different. That is intentional.

The "Purple Gradient" Trap

Every AI tool launched in 2024 looks the same. Dark mode. Neon purple text. A feeling of "tech" and "future."

But the founder's journey isn't neon. It's earthen. It's messy. It's grounded.

Wabi-Sabi (侘寂)

We draw inspiration from the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi: the acceptance of transience and imperfection.

  • Sabi-iro (Rust): Our primary color isn't "Startup Blue." It's Rust. Because rust is what happens when iron interacts with the elements over time. It's a sign of endurance.
  • Kinari (Unbleached): Our background isn't #FFFFFF. It's unbleached silk. Natural. Textured. Easier on the eyes at 3 AM.

"We designed Mikage to feel like a study, not a dashboard. A place of reflection, not reaction."
